This workshop is for persons who are interested in improving their teaching and riding skills,as well as preparing for CHA Instructor Certification.This workshop will cover the following topics:

Teaching Techniques for all Levels

Lesson plan progression

Discussion of learning styles

Developing the "Instructor's Eye" and correcting riding faults

Safety Management in the Ring, on the Trail, and Around the Barn

Emergency ProceduresParticipants will practice teaching and role playing as is done in regular CHA

Standard Certification ClinicsFor individual instructors or entire camp or barn staff.Overnight accommodations, or workshops for private groups, available upon requestRequired Materials: CHA Composite Manual and a CHA Instructor ManualThese materials may be purchased at Pinebrook Farms.All horses and tack will be supplied. Please bring your own helmet (let us know if we need to provide one) and lunch
